I’m so sorry. I wish you could have at least found out why it even happened because I’m sure you would use that information to help others.

Well, it was a bait and switch. They told me I would be with doctors, and I wouldn't be alone, and there would be lots of blankets (??). Technically, I said yes. For the first couple of weeks, there were no blankets. I had a doctor walk by every couple of days. And of course I was very alone. After something like the first hour, I told an official passing by that I wasn't supposed to be in there. I repeated myself for nineteen days.

Random question off topic. Hope you don’t mind.

You got some Christmas movies on your list by next week you’re watching?

Carry On looks like it might be good.

You mean for the site? Yes, I have a Christmas week all queued up. Wish I could do that for other holidays, but there's a real shortage, isn't there?

I don't know if "Carry On" will be on my watch-list anytime soon. Right now I'm speed running through some smaller movies of this year so I can do a year-in-review. In spite of this site's focus of 2014-2023, I watch a LOT of contemporary movies too.

Did they leave the room temperature to a level that you were always cold?

Actually, I don't believe so. Though I found a way to survive. Early on, I met with a doctor. I told him all my concerns, but his only takeaway was, "You need sleeping pills." To which I replied, "Lots of them."

This seems like a very sad movie. I’m trying to process how you could’ve gone through something like that in prison, and actually be okay now. The system is so disgusting. It’s hard to understand.

I'm okay now?
